Orange and Date Salad

Ingredients:
6 oranges
2 tablespoons orange flower water or rose water
Lemon juice
2/3 cup stoned dates
1/3 cup pistachio nuts
Powdered sugar, to taste
A few toasted almonds

Using a sharp knife, peel oranges and remove all the pith. Separate sections and cut into one-inch pieces. Save the juice in a bowl. Place orange pieces in a serving dish.

Stir in the juice from the bowl together with a little orange flower or rose water. Add lemon juice to taste.

Chop the dates and pistachio nuts and mix into salad. Sprinkle salad with a little powdered sugar. Chill for 1 hour.

Just before serving, sprinkle over the toasted almonds and more powdered sugar.
